The Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy Wellington is pleased to invite candidate nominations for the summer 2012 Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) for scholars.
Successful participant’s costs are covered. This includes international travel and ground transportation in the U.S.; housing; subsistence and incidental allowances.
1. 2012 Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) for Scholars
The Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy Wellington is pleased to invite candidate nominations for the summer 2012 Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) for scholars.
SUSI scholar programs are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign university faculty and other scholars the opportunity to deepen their understanding of American society, culture, and institutions. The ultimate goal is to strengthen curricula and to improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad. This study will take place over the course of six weeks beginning in June 2012.
